A wider view before buying

Count on Reviews is a UK-based product review aggregator. It brings together published expert ratings, verified product specifications and available retailer offers to help readers compare products with more context.

Televisions and soundbars are the first areas of coverage. Other categories will follow as their data and review sources are checked. The catalogue is growing; it is not an exhaustive list of every product on the UK market.

How the COR Score works

Each usable critic rating is converted to a five-point scale, then included in an equally weighted average. An 8/10 rating becomes 4.0/5. Each publisher counts once, and the result is rounded to one decimal place.

A score based on fewer than three critics is marked provisional. Products with no usable numeric review stay unrated. A review without a numeric rating may be linked for context but does not contribute to the average.

Reviews are grouped by product family. A family score does not mean that every screen size or edition has been separately tested. The source cards and model specifications provide that detail.

Where the information comes from

Specifications and images come from supported manufacturer and product-data sources. Automated checks match UK model codes, screen sizes and editions. Conflicting records are held for review, and missing facts are not filled in by guesswork.

Product summaries are original factual text assembled automatically from those verified specifications. They are not hands-on reviews, and Count on Reviews does not present itself as the testing laboratory behind the linked critic ratings. Original reviews remain the work of their respective publishers.

How the site is funded

Some retailer links are affiliate links. Count on Reviews may earn a commission when a reader follows a qualifying link and makes a purchase. Affiliate arrangements do not change the COR Score calculation.

Price coverage depends on available feeds and exact model matches. It does not include every retailer or guarantee the lowest price. Sponsored placements or advertising, if introduced, will be identified.

Corrections and questions

Product data changes, and automated matching can need correction. To report an error, include the page address, exact model code and a link to the supporting source. Publisher and rights enquiries are also welcome through the contact form.
